Computer Drafting & Design Process
General drafting & design project workflow: > client request for quotation > request review & project proposal - addressing project specifications > preliminary project material & initial client feedback > final presentation material production stage > project delivery based on agreed upon project specifications & deliverables.
Required project information - as part of the design process the client is encouraged to submit as much relevant project information as available - the materials can be submitted in various formats such as CAD drawings, digital images & written project support specifications, sketches & conceptual drawings, other.
Client feedback - clear & consistent client feedback is encouraged during the project timeline as it may directly determine the quality & accuracy of the final project deliverables.
Project communication - as part of the drafting & design process we encourage where applicable for the client to either meet in person, or connect via social media with 3D Block staff during the project timeline. Preliminary meetings and project related communication are free of cost and very helpful in delivering the desired project material.
Pricing - as a general approach for the current pricing model most quotations will be submitted to the client based on several criteria including: required project timeframe & client deadline; format & detail of the project information made available for 3D Block staff; required project deliverables - specifications - size & format, level of detail to be illustrated or included in the final renderings & animations. At 3D Block we understand that sometimes a customized pricing model may be more helpful for the client and more relevant for the project purpose, therefore please do not hesitate to contact us for any additional inquiries.
Drafting & Design Process / Additional Information
Request for Quotation - includes client submission of available project details, measurements & specifications - as well as a general project description & scope of work.
The more project information is made available for 3D Block staff in the project request for quotation the more accurate will be the final presentation materials & the more efficient will be the drafting & design process.
Submission Review / Project Proposal - consists of a close review of the client submitted materials - based on which a preliminary proposal agreement will be formulated & submitted for client review.
Preliminary Project Material / Client Feedback - upon completed proposal review & signed project agreement an introductory presentation package including initial drafting & design material will be prepared for client feedback. All project changes & client observations in regards to the final project deliverables to be produced are encouraged at this project stage.
Final Presentation Material Production - project deliverables production stage - followed by a presentation & final feedback from the client - project revisions are acceptable if the changes do not significantly alter the initial project scope of work.
Project Delivery - final presentation material delivered to client conforming with all project specifications formulated in the singed proposal agreement with all agreed upon subsequent changes where applicable.
